Context: The Conference was held at the Tlatelolco Building, under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico. Discussions were divided among three topics, first Global Economic Issues; second, Development, Political and Security Issues; and third, Informal Global Governance Structures. The third session focused on the interaction between the G5 and the G8.
