Global Governance...New Approaches?
Location: Paris
Date: 28 - 30 April, 2009
Context: Experts from governments, think tanks, and academia considered the changing distribution of global power, and the subsequent impact on the most complex global policy challenges. We focused on how the financial crisis affected the distribution of power, the issues with implementing the G20 as the new global “steering committee”, and how to include the voices of those who may not be included in any G20. The core project team also sought feedback on the direction of future research.
